Installing RunPro:

Create a folder named Runpro and copy the runpro3x.exe and runpro3x.doc files into this directory.

You can create a shortcut to Runpro on your Desktop or in the Start Menu by right clicking the exe file and dragging to where you want to place the shortcut.

Just be sure to set the Working folder for the shortcut (under the shortcut Properties Program Tab) to the Runpro folder, so that Runpro can find the help file and also save any files it creates there where you can find them.

It's also convenient to select the "Close on Exit" check box at this time. This will cause the RunPro window to close when you exit the program.

If you save any option changes, RunPro will create a file called RUNPRO3x.CFG. If this file is deleted, RunPro will run with all defaults. Any racelogs that are saved will have a .log extension attached to the name you gave the log.

RunPro is compiled in QuickBasic 4.5. For some reason when run in Windows XP it hogs much of the CPU. This doesn't hurt anything, but will noticably slow down other applications if left running in the background. You can minimize this problem by opening the properties on the runpro.exe file (right click), clicking the Misc tab, and adjusting the Idle Sensitivity setting nearly all the way to High.

Uninstalling RunPro:
Delete the RunPro folder.... that's it.
